We’ve been listening to our customers and have used their feedback to make considerable enhancements to Silhouette’s image tracing experience and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) integration capabilities in the latest release of Silhouette – version 4.8.
With this version of Silhouette, users are able to display images at a higher resolution across the whole screen and an enhanced zoom feature enables greater tracing accuracy.
The new drawing tools include an onscreen stylus for touch screen drawing when adding outlines, mouse mode tracing with drop points and continuous drawing modes, as well as more editing options for wound outlines.
Matthew Campbell, Technical Product Manager, says “Release 4.8 is a significant milestone for Silhouette, not only for its improved on-screen drawing features but also because of the enhanced EMR integration functionality that enables wound and patient assessments to be ordered from an EMR and for an assessment report to be made available in the EMR, fulfilling the order.”
Other significant changes in this release include a new search facility, new tracing permissions, additional gender options, and improvements to the exposure and color of images captured with SilhouetteStar (model 2005).
